I think I was seven years old when Land Before Time 5 came out (thanks, Wikipedia). I was really excited about this one, more so than any of the other direct-to-video releases because it actually brought back a character, Chopper, and he actually had lines to say. I'm pretty certain I enjoyed this movie as a kid, but looking back, it's pretty terrible, almost as bad as a G3 My Little Pony special.
However, while the writing, characters, animation, and art style in the Land Before Time sequels are terrible, I really like the songs. I know most of them are cheezy and badly written, but they're so damn catchy and easy to sing. I can't help but enjoy them. This is one of the best ones in my opinion because it actually manages to portray some emotion in it. Enjoy the chords.

Sonic SatAM Intro (Fastest Thing Alive) Chords
Well, I've already done two major Sonic songs; I might as well go with the rest of the shabang. I'm gonna be honest with you. I haven't seen a single episode of Sonic SatAM, which I believe I've said previously, but I do really like the intro. I especially like the beginning of it. Such mystery and darkness, seemingly a pretty common trait in early 1990s cartoons, even the disney ones, is always a plus for me.

Arare-chan Toujou Chords
I'm a huge fan of Akira Toriyama because of Dragon Ball and DBZ, so I definitely enjoyed the one episode of Dr. Slump I watched. I especially enjoyed the song that was played during the credits, Arale-chan Toujou or Arare-chan Toujou depending on how you translate it. It's probably the most adorable thing to come out of Akira Toriyama's work. Hopefully you will find it entertaining to play.
Enjoy.
Sonic CD English Intro Chords
Another song about that blasted hedgehog, what has come over me? Well, childhood, that's what. I didn't watch many Sonic cartoons when I was a kid, but games were a different story. Some time in the nineties, my parents bought my brothers and I a big collection of Sonic games for the PC (yeah, we were second generation Sonic players, what's it to you!), and we played through each and every one of them. Although Sonic CD wasn't my favorite of them, it had the most badass opening of all time. I still remember observing in awe how awesome Sonic the Hedgehog was when I first saw this intro.
Enjoy playing.
Find a Pet Song Chords
And now we come to something a little more recent, that famous song from May The Best Pet Win, one of the best animated episodes of MLP:FiM. By the way, when I say "best animated" I'm referring to animation quality, not to the story or the script, though this episode is not lacking in either. The facial expressions during this song remind me so much of anime because of how deliberately cross-eyed they are.
This song is complicated, so complicated that chording the thing is almost completely subjective; you can do it many many different ways. I'm not sure if my way's the best way or the worst way, but hopefully you'll at least find it understandable.
Enjoy.
Pinkie's No Fear Song Chords
Did I mention that I was a brony? No, well I am, and Pinkie Pie happens to be my favorite character, and moments like Giggle at the Ghosty are the primary reason why, so yeah.
Enjoy the chords.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure - Someday Chords
Way back when, my brother was really interested Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, and my Mom was really interested in musical education, so he was somehow able to convince her that this game would be musically educational and got her to buy it for us. We never beat it as kids, but we always remembered the music. Someday, in particular, was one of the most catchy songs on the planet and will remain in our heads forever more.
Enjoy.

Sonic Underground Intro Chords
Does anyone besides me remember this show? Anyone? Well, to be honest, I don't think I'm qualified to "remember" it. My only childhood memories of it are the lonely vhs tape that I never rented from some arbitrary video rental store that existed for a few measly years in the late 1990s. I saw the cover and my miniature brain was like, "Why the heck does Sonic have an electric guitar? Isn't he supposed to use his speed or something?" I assumed it was one of those special "direct-to-video" releases that never came out on tv, something like Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.
I found out nearly a decade later with its release on Netflix that it was an actual TV show that aired sometime way back alongside Sonic SatAM (which I've never seen) and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (the only one I actually saw as a child). I decided, "Hey, why the Hell not?" and watched the first episode. I was so amazed by the quality of the animation and the epicness of the song in the intro that I watched nearly three episodes of the series before realizing that it wasn't that good (I tend to get excited about epic music).
So yeah, the intro to Sonic Underground is awesome, but the series is kind of meh. Anyways, why the hell am I babbling off like this? Here are the chords if you missed them at the top.

The purpose of Scanty Chord Shanty Feed
Hello Scanty Chord Shanty fans (if such fans even exist, *forever alone*), this blog is simply a feed of the newly chorded songs on SCS. I've made it for two purposes. The first is to make it easier for a fan of SCS to get updates of the newest songs by means of rss and the like, without having to constantly visit the website. The second is to make said songs more visible on google's search engines.
Now, I'm not trying to get popular or anything, Google people. I'm simply trying to make it possible to find something if you search for "Find a Pet Song Chords" or "Sonic Underground Intro chords" because these chords are available on my website, but searching for them brings no results.
Since I wasn't clever enough to make this website from the beginning, I'm going to be making posts about the songs that already exist on SCS for the time being. Don't worry, it won't take many posts. There are only about four songs currently there.
So long, ghost readers.
